Adrian Laza

Adrian Laza is the first Romanian climber who conquered all 14 summits of over 8000 meters in the world, performance that places him among some of the greatest climbers worldwide. Adrian Laza is the climber who proved that strength and discipline have no age. He started his ascents at the age of 53, in 2016, with the Cho Oyu summit. A remarkable personality, an example of perseverance, passion and mental strength, he conquered the last summit in his track record, the Shishapangma summit in Himalaya, at the beginning of October 2024.   

Paul Georgescu – Ocean’s Seven

Paul Georgescu was awarded the “Man of the Year” title by the World Open Water Swimming Association Awards (WOWSA), the most important open water swimming organization worldwide. This prestigious award recognizes the Romanian swimmer’s remarkable achievements in this extreme sport.

Paul Georgescu is a model of excellence and endurance. He is the first Romanian who completed Ocean’s Seven, one of the most difficult open water swimming projects in the world and has achieved the best time of the year during his last challenge, the Tsugaru channel in Japan.  

Andrei Stănescu

Andrei Stănescu is a young skier who represented Romania in the Junior Alpine Skiing World Championships. He is an example of talent and perseverance.
